2 Oct (J + 28) Moulu... olé olé olé...

This week end we were in Coromandel peninsula, a beautiful place at 150km north-east of Hamilton. We first reached Thames to do some hiking in Kauaerenga Park. We’ve started to climb the Pinnacles’ but the rain didn’t let us reach the summit, so we just did a 3h walking. After that we went to Coromandel, the road which lead us there was along the Pacific Ocean. Despite the rain it was fabulous. In the backpacker's we ended our day reading books in front of a chimney fire.

Coromandel Peninsula 27-28 Sept

The next day we drove along the seaside and stop in a little beach to take some good shots. But the day was sunny and we swam in the sea. It was cold but so good. Then we went to Whitianga to eat a good New Zealander’s hamburgers. We finish the trip discovering Cathedral Cove, a cavern formed by the sea waves… marvelous!

Tonight we’ve seen a rugby match: Waikato (Hamilton) vs Taranaki (New Plymouth). Atmosphere was so nice, cow’s bell, cheerleader, mascot, supporters’ songs and a man with a chainsaw who starts it at each event!! Waikato won 45-41 after a good struggle!

Match de rugby ce soir... Waikato a gagné le match 45-41 vs Taranaki... super... C'était pour l'Air New Zealand Cup... Voilou...

Let's jump into the Pacific!!!
